This is a negative term indicating that the wine has an excessive acidity that has an aroma and flavor similar to a vinegar.  

Pigeage

This is a winemaking technique to extract the flavor, tannin, and color from the juice during the start of the fermentation.  

Palate

The palate is the overall sense and flavor of the wine.  

Oaked

Oaked wines are formed by aging in an oak barrel. The wine is then exposed to more oxygen which adds the flavors and aromas of vanilla, toast, creamy nutmeg, sweet spices, and smoked flavor.  

Length

This term refers to how long the flavor of the wine stays in your mouth after you have swallowed the wine. Usually, higher quality have longer lengths than inferior quality.  

Fruity

Fruity wines gives off an aroma, flavor, and bouquet of fruits that are in the wine such as grapes, strawberries, citrus, berries, cherries, apricot, and   apples.

Focused

Focused wines are clear in their flavor and aroma. It is precise and distinguishable. It does not contain haziness.
